i had homecell retreat over the weekend! heez i had fun, and got to know others better.. we went for the forest adventure course at bedok reservoir, and that was tough man! haha i was first of the pack, dun ask me why i went first! super big mistake! haha.. so i had to depend on myself most of the time.. but i managed to come out of it alive! HEH I LOVE CHALLENGES!!!!

Da Capo '08 ended yesterday! and I think that it was a very heart-warming performance.. it's Mr Leonard Tan's last performance with NUSWS, and the band did a surprise item for him.. :) it's very evident that he is the heart and soul of the band.. ever since he joined them in 2006, i could see, not only an improvement in their skills and delivery of music, but also their growing hearts for music.. their passion is alive in every note they play, and i'm sure that Mr Tan did his part in inspiring all these young musicians.. not to mention that he also taught ben alot about conducting, even though most of the time ben is probably just emulating his example.. leading by example! that's even more remarkable, isn't it? He's leaving to do his phD, and i'm sure he'll make it big in the music scene one day.. some of you should attend his concerts in future! and you'll understand what i mean.. I LOVE LEONARD TAN!!! haha.. he's so cute.. :P

after receiving the flowers, it set me thinking about what i'm gonna do with them when they die.. i find myself in a constant struggle between the hopeless-romantic side of me VS the practical side of me.. hopeless-romantic tells me that a girl needs to be pampered and surprised with flowers once in a while, but practical tells me that it's a complete waste of money coz the shuang-ness only lasts for a few hours.. this applies to fine dining too.. it's nice to go for exquisite, out of this world food, but the shuang-ness onli lasts for a few hours too rite? my confusion has caused the boyfriend some distress too.. i'm sorry baby! i noe i'm a wreck when it comes to this.. i think i would rather have something that is both romantic and practical, where the shuang-ness can last a lifetime.. i think i'll rather have diamonds! heehee.. :P



haven't been feeling too good (physically) these past 2 weeks.. was down with fever&flu&sorethroat&cough last week, and down with LS&nausea&fever&stomach cramps this week.. i'm still coughing like mad! hopefully i won't cough too much tmr during the bf's concert..

tmr's ben's concert! and he's conducting again! heehee.. i still remember 2 years ago when he conducted, i was sqirming in my seat coz i was so excited! haha.. i'm excited for tmr's performance too! he's conducting 'october', a piece that i like very very very much.. :) and the official photographer is liwei.. i hope he takes many many pics of ben when he conducts.. CAN'T WAIT! all the best baby! i'm sure you'll do very well..
